Doing so he has achieved extensive insight into the offshore wind vessel market, the offshore installation phase and the operation and maintenance of offshore wind.

Roberto Mezzalama is Senior Project Director of WSP Italia S.r.l., Roberto carries out his professional activities with Golder and then WSP from 1999. In 2014 and 2015 he has been the Manager of the Environmental Assessment Division of the Calgary office, and from 2007 to 2011 he has been the Managing Director of Golder Associates Europe. From May 2014 to March 2019, he was Leader of the Global ESIA community for Golder Associates Corporation. He holds a B.Sc in ecology and an M.Sc in environmental engineering; his technical experience includes leading Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Biodiversity and Climate change studies for developments in the power, mining, oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing and waste sectors. His geographical experience includes projects in over 20 countries in Europe, Central Asia, Africa and North America. He is currently directing several ESIA studies for Offshore Wind Farms in the Mediterranean area.

Teit is a construction management consultant with over two decades of experience in project management, planning, design, fabrication, and installation within the offshore renewables industry.
Teit is currently serving as a Foundations Package Manager for what will be the first offshore wind farm in Lithuania and has previously worked for Marubeni, Siemens Gamesa, Centrica, RWE, Ørsted, and Atkins. Teit is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Registered Project Professional with the Association of Project Management.
His proficiency spans a wide spectrum of offshore technologies, including monopiles, jackets, topsides, floating structures, substations, cables and wind turbines.

Marco Vergassola is an Offshore Engineer at Sener and a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at TU Delft. With over five years of experience in the wind energy sector, he specializes in bottom-fixed and floating offshore wind foundations.
He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology.
His expertise spans structural dynamics, naval architecture, station-keeping systems, dynamic power cable systems, and advanced numerical simulations.
At Sener, Marco has contributed to projects such as the FEED for the HiveWind concept, overseeing mooring and dynamic cable design, and the FEED of the ECOFOSS floating substation, where he led numerical modeling of the global system, seakeeping analysis, station-keeping system design, and served as technical lead for the tank test campaign.

As a Grid Connection & Electrical Works Senior Director, Fernando Sada is in charge of managing all the aspects related to the electrical network and project grid connection as well as evaluation all the system studies required for the smooth integration of all the BlueFloat Energy’s projects into the electrical grid. Fernando brings more than fourteen years of multidisciplinary offshore wind experience gained in international context and in diverse engineering fields. Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Fernando worked for four years at Cobra Group as Electrical System Supervisor and Engineering Coordinator within the core team of Kincardine Project, an operational floating offshore wind project off the cost of Aberdeen, UK. Fernando started his career at ABB Offshore Wind Connections in Sweden where he worked as Electrical System Designer and Analyst and participated in the successful completion of the DolWin Alpha and DolWin Beta offshore wind projects in Northern Germany and other offshore wind projects’ tender preparation. Fernando holds a double MsC degree in Industrial-Electrical Engineering received from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and the Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm (KTH).

Mary Henderson is a Chartered Naval Architect at Kent where she has worked on a variety of offshore projects. She is excited to work within the energy sector during the energy transition, and is particularly interested in working with the new technologies associated with floating offshore wind projects. Her experience so far has included the parametric design of FOW turbine hulls, substations and their station keeping systems using multi-objective design optimisation. Recently, she has investigated the use of synthetic ropes for FOW taut and semi-taut mooring systems using coupled analysis.

Mr Jesper Hald has a background as project engineer and project manager, primarily for offshore projects. The first parts of his professional career were done within offshore oil and gas(primarily Mobile Offshore Drilling Units) but has transitioned into offshore wind. He has, for instance, been involved in the development of a floating substructure for the 15MW-class turbines, as technical lead for the auxiliary package. Latest he has been involved in a number of design projects for offshore substations, as discipline lead. He has practical experience from yard stays and offshore surveys. Mr Jesper Hald is involved in the DNV JIP – Floating offshore substation as the technical point of contact within Ramboll.
